Tollywood starlet Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been staying away from the media for the last few months. It is known that she has been diagnosed with an auto-immune disease named Myositis. Since then, she has been resting at home and is not coming out to any public events.
Samantha also couldn’t attend the promotions of her last film Yashoda. Still, the movie managed to become a hit at the box office. However, she is now making sure to promote her upcoming film Shaakuntalam, which also happens to be the highest-budget film in her career.
A couple of days ago, Samantha started dubbing for Shaakuntalam. Yesterday, she made her first public appearance. She was spotted at the Mumbai Airport. It is heard that she landed in Mumbai for professional work. The sources stated that Samantha is back to work and is planning to restart all her pending assignments.
She is also expected to actively participate in the promotions of Shaakuntalam. The theatrical trailer of this movie will be released on January 9. Directed by Gunasekhar, this mythological drama will hit the theatres on February 17. Mani Sharma is composing the music for it. Shaakuntalam will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
