RRR is setting the international stage on fire. After receiving much applause on an international level, this action epic is now sweeping all major international awards. Now, RRR’s popular song Naatu Naatu has been awarded the Best Original Song at the prestigious Golden Globes Awards.

It is already known that RRR was nominated for Best Original Song (Naatu Naatu) and Best Non-English Language Film categories at the 80th Golden Globe Awards. Naatu Naatu won Best Original Song by beating the top international artists like Rihanna and Taylor Swift’s songs. The film’s music director MM Keeravani received the award.

Upon receiving the award, Keeravani got emotional. During his acceptance speech, Keeravani thanked Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, lyricist Chandrabose, choreographer Prem Rakshit, singers Kaala Bhairava, Rahul Sipligunj and his entire team who worked hard on this track. Naatu Naatu is not only the first Indian song but also the first Asian song to win the Best Original Song Award at the Golden Globes.

Meanwhile, RRR lost the Best Non-English Film award to the Argentinian film ‘Argentina 1985’. The other nominated films in this category are All Quiet on the Western Front (Germany), Close (Belgium), and Decision to Leave (South Korea). On the whole, RRR made Indian cinema proud once again today.
