On an interesting note, cricket fans can now watch the last two women’s ODI matches between India and Sri Lanka on the popular TV channel, DD Sports.
The Information and Broadcast Ministry has already given the required permissions. So, DD will broadcast the last two ODI matches. Some websites have already live-streamed the T20I and the first ODI series. 27th Sports got the television rights for the series after requesting Prasar Bharati to telecast the matches on Doordarshan.
Now, as the permission came from the Information and Broadcast Ministry, DD will broadcast the remaining two ODIs.
“27th Sports is happy to share that the second and third India vs Sri Lanka women’s ODIs will be coming Live on DD Sports. This will take the game to every corner of the country and also gives the people the opportunity to see the Indian team performing on the international stage,” said Sangeet Shirodkar, CEO and Co-Founder of 27th Sports.
He further added that Women’s cricket is growing and it has to get maximum exposure to reach the next level and 27th Sports is trying to highlight women’s cricket in every possible way.
