Dusshera celebrations went on, in a grand manner, across the nation. At the Ramlila event at the Lal Qila grounds, Prabhas performed the Ravana dahan. Along with Prabhas, team Adipurush was present at the event. Delhi CM Kejriwal was also present at the event. President Droupadi Murmu was also supposed to grace the occasion, but she skipped the event because of her prior commitments.
On Dussehra every year, the Luv Kush Ramlila invites a dignitary to perform the Ravana dahan, and this year, Prabhas had the honor. Since Prabhas is playing Lord Sriram in the upcoming pan-India film Adipurush, the event has garnered nationwide attention currently.
On the stage, Prabhas was felicitated first. And then, the actor raised a gada (mace) in his hand. The police officials have made grand arrangements in the view of a lot of fans attending the event.
At around 7pm, Prabhas took the bow and arrow and fired the ceremonial shot. The actor’s fans attended the event in a grand manner. Prabhas took part in an event like this, for the first time.
Adipurush also features Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan and others in crucial roles.
