THE IBC NEWS RATING

F3 is the sequel of the super successful film F2. The Fun and Frustration team is back with another entertaining ride, with money as the driving force and the frustration it causes. The major cast is retained for the sequel. The film was released on May 27th, 2022. Check out the review of the film here.

Plot:

Money is the major driving element in the film. Venky (Venkatesh) and Varun (Varun Tej) want to become billionaires and so are the leading ladies of the film. The greed for money drives them to do a lot of silly things in the presence of an industrialist (Murali Sharma). The quench for money pushes them to a great extent where they end up in a crucial do-or-die situation. How did they come out with flying colors form the film’s plot?

What’s Entertaining & What’s Boring:

To be honest, the film’s major running element is entertainment. Director Anil Ravipudi who is known for creating entertaining concepts does it again with this film. F3 is entertaining to the core and from scene one itself, the comic angle works well. The performances and the unique traits of the characters entertain the viewers. The boring quotient is very less and can be easily ignorable in the film. Compared to F2, F3 is more entertaining and less boring.

F3 The Film

Performance of Cast & Crew:

There are a bunch of talented actors in the film and everyone has a scope to unleash their talent. The main leads Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah and Mehreen got a good scope to perform. All the four actors have given their best for the film. Sunil, Murali Sharma, Annapurna, Pragathi, and others also made their presence felt. The actors are the film’s strength and they aced the game. Technically, the film got what it needed. The camera work and the editing are the best in recent times. The music by DSP is foot-tapping. The score is good too. The production values are grand and supported the director very well.

First Half & Second Half:

The first half of F3 is entertaining and the second half is more entertaining. There are a few setbacks in the first half as the director needed time to establish the characters, their situations, and plights. Other than that, the first half is impressive. However, the second half runs at a fast pace with comedy as the driving force. The second half is much better than the first half and the F3 toys element is a major highlight.

Impressive:

Comedy
F3 toys sequence
Second Half
Climax fight

Unimpressive:

Slow start

‘The IBC News’ take on F3:

F3 is a big relief in recent times amidst the action and high-budget entertainers in Telugu. With a simple and routine plot, Anil Ravipudi did his magic at the box office and entertained the audience grandly. The film is a clean comedy caper that can be watched by everyone.
