It is known that the Justice A Arumughaswamy Commission of Inquiry, formed to probe the circumstances leading to the former chief minister J Jayalalithaa’s death. Reportedly, it is all set to submit its report to the Tamil Nadu government on Today.
This report is said to have the culmination of nearly 5 year-long proceedings headed by former judge of Madras high court Justice A Arumughaswamy, who was handpicked by the AIADMK’s Edappadi K Palaniswami government.
It is heard that Justice Arumughaswamy will personally hand over this important report to chief minister M K Stalin at Today morning, at the secretariat.
For the unversed, Tamil Nadu’s former CM late Jayalalithaa, who was hospitalised on September 22, 2016, died on December 5, 2016 after a 75-day stay at Apollo Hospitals here.
So, the commission came into existence by an order dated September 25, 2017 and it commenced its hearing on November 22, 2017.
