Telangana Chief Minister’s BRS to set up its bases in six other states; Deets Inside

Telangana CM and Bharat Rishtra Samithi (BRS)’s chief K. Chandrashekar Rao plans to expand his party to six other states namely Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, Maharashtra, Punjab and Haryana. BRS is already the ruling party in its home base i.e. Telangana and is enjoying its second consequent term.

KCR recently set up BRS’s office in Delhi and AAP’s leader and Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann met KCR in Hyderabad yesterday. It is reported that many leaders from Andhra Pradesh have shown keen interest in joining BRS. A spokesperson of BRS also said that “A stage is set for the launch of BRS Kisan cells in many districts of Andhra Pradesh, particularly in north-coastal Andhra. At least 70-80 prominent people have come forward to launch the BRSK activities. Similarly, many people from Maharashtra, Odisha, Karnataka and other states are also expressing their readiness to join the BRS.”

KCR, while addressing, said that the setting up of Kisan cells in the above-mentioned six states is in tune with the party’s slogan which is “Ab ki Baar, Kisan Sarkar” and that this is the first step towards the party expansion across the country. KCR further said that BRS activities in different states shall take commencement after Christmas.
